![]() I never wanted to become anything, but I attended school all my life as route of escape. I worked all my life to retire and then failed to do so. |
This is a picture my wife drew of me from my favorite book The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. I think it is fair to use this as a self-portrait since my mother claimed when she looked into a mirror she expected to see a sixteen year old. I lived in her house house all my life and held the same social work job for 36 years. My idea of a good time is having as many computers as possible all running different projects. One can get caught up in projects/computers. A coworker told me she dusted off her PC and stayed up to 4:00 A.M. Life is about becoming so engaged that one enters into a time warp. Before I did computers I did tournament chess where there are two clocks on the table and neither set to the time of day. What are they measuring? |
