Kin of my grandchild: Chenoweth genealogy for Nora

HiattCora Hiatt Chenoweth hired a British historian that traced the name to a certain John Trevelisek. His youngest son John built a new stone house around 924. The Cornish word for new house being Chynowyth. Cora has several pictures of the 1,000 year old house in her book (Hiatt 1925 page 11). (Chenoweth's Note: There is no direct decadence from John Trevelisek).

All the parishes within this area are said to be in Meneage although no such division was ever recognized for any civil, legal or ecclesiastical purpose; The political entity is Kerrier District in Cornwall County of England. St. Martin in Meneage parish lies between Mawgan and Manaccan and is separated from Constantine by the Helford River²
